8 Ball Aitken has been invited to showcase at the 2010 International Folk Alliance in Memphis. He will be playing at the event from February 17 - 21, 2010.

8 Ball's Aitken's 'OUTBACK BOOTY CALL' has been awarded the 2009 Capital News Q Song Country Song of the Year Award. This is 8 Ball's second Q Song Award, his song 'YELLOW MOON' won the 2008 Q Song EMI Blues & Roots Song of the Year Award.
